I am…

a wife of a Ranger, now math teacher (but you never say “was” a Ranger in my house), a mom, a grandma, a little sis, a big sis, a BFF, Warrior Woman, a USAF Veteran, author, teacher, psychologist, publisher, and mentor. I was raised by my grandparents in Washington State. My grandma looked like Elizabeth Taylor, was a Private Detective and a Professional Clown. There’s definitely more to that story – and I promise to fill you in as we get to know one another…My grandpa was a hardworking logger, contractor, and Alaskan fisherman.

I teach…

people how to find their voice by empowering them to tell their story, first & foremost to themselves, maybe to nobody else – maybe to their people – maybe to the world! As they become empowered and gain common-sense-insightful-tools to cope with ordinary and extraordinary challenges and opportunities, I love to watch them transition from the victim to the victor or the villain to the hero…

As they share their story with me, and way, way, way, before they even think about sharing it with anyone else, I teach them how to break out of the cycle of knee-jerk-reacting and start responding more OPTIMALLY to themselves, others, and the world, based on the health & life (or more so the Healthy Life) goals they set for themselves. Driven by my own challenges, growing up in less-than-optimal environments and enduring a traumatic brain injury at the age of 7, I am determined to reach as many children in this great United States as there are leaves on trees!
